One month ago i started taking low dose accutane (isotretinoin) 20mg three times per week to help deal with very oily skin and hair.
After first week my skin started to dry out.
Week two and until now my lips have been hell on earth. Sore. Red. Raw. Cracked. Peeling.
I also have mild joint pain.
While i love not being so oily, the side effects don’t out weight the positives. I will give it one more week then i will stop taking it unless things improve.
Whats your story of accutane?
UPDATE: After over a month I’ve decided to stop using Accutane. The joint pain in my lower back, knees and even macular aches in my thighs proved too much.
