Another commonly transmitted sexually transmitted infection today is Herpes. So when you get Herpes, you will develop painful liquid filled to fluid filled boils. These boils, in males, it will be present on the penis and in females it would be present on the external part of the vagina.so it will lead to small painful ulcers. So if you have any blisters in the private areas, you most likely have Herpes if you would have intercourse with an unknown person. There are tests available for Herpes. But these are only not 100% accurate. A clinical diagnosis is much more accurate than serological test. Serological test detect antibodies for herpes in your body and they become positive only after 1 week after infection, in the first 1 week, it will be negative. So these tests are done. At a later stage if you want to rule out certain other infections. These tests are asked by your doctor. So if you have such painful fluid filled rashes, visit your dermatologists. They are trained to deal with sexually transmitted diseases. It will be able to guide you with the further treatment. Herpes can be treated. So don’t worry about it. What you should worry is untreatable sexually transmitted diseases along with Herpes like HIV and HbsAg.
