Eczema and Love Series Part 1: Self Love

OMG, it feels good to be back to Youtube! Currently in Wellington, New Zealand and the Wifi is good here, so I am taking full advantage of it! (Also, my apologies on the flippy hair. I filmed this at my Airbnb in Fiji–with prior permission from my host–right out of bed. Had so much to do that day, I just seized the moment.)

My next 4-part series of eczema lifestyle videos centers around the concept of Love and its role in living with eczema. It can be such an elusive idea, much less emotion that we can feel for ourselves when we live with so much pain, which is associated with negativity. But with eczema, the pain is a part of the healing process and it’s necessary feedback that we need to know to know that things need to change. Where there is pain, there is an opportunity, if not necessity for growth. And when we learn to grow with the pain, we can truly start to feel love for ourselves and all of the trials, obstacles and uncertainty we went through to get to that point. But first, we have to work through the pain, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

And so, we begin within: Self-Love.

The following videos will center around Eczema and Love with Family, Friends, and finally Lovers/Relationships.

There’s a lot more love and compassion out there for people with eczema than I ever knew there could be when I was covered in rashes. Even with active flares! Hope these videos help to open the eyes of those who are too afraid to see the light and reinforce the clarity of vision of those who have.
