Eczema means boil out. It is derived basically from the Greek word. Eczema is basically a group of skin conditions. It is basically inflamed, irritated, itchy skin conditions. It happens because of many reasons, right from contact with any kind of allergens, dry skin, sometimes even the cloth what you wear. Because of the dry weather so like that many causes will lead to this eczematous condition. Depending on the cause, depending on the site involved, depending on shape, depending on whether it is dry or whether depending on these conditions we divide to the eczema in dry and wet eczema.
Eczemas are basically segregated or differentiated depending on causes and depending on the duration. So depending on duration we called it as acute Eczema and chronic Eczema. Depending on these cause we called this as atopic dermatitis and nummular eczema, then allergic contact dermatitis, irritant contact dermatitis.
So eczema yes it can be genetically acquired. But it is not going to transmit to one person to one person if there not genetically related. So through contact by touching the eczema you will never get that eczema. It depends on the genetic morphology of their lineage or basically it is because of the genetic influence, these immune response because hyper as a result of that the skin tend to show lot of immunological reactions within them and leads to this eczematous changes. So it’s not contagious it’s very clear, it is never going to spread from person to person and please believe in that. Don’t hesitate to touch them and don’t try to segregate them if they have got any skin conditions which is diagnosed as eczematous.
