Home Remedies For Eczema.

Learning to care for your own Eczema and wage war against it without needing Doctors or specialists can be the one thing that finally tips the scales in your favor. Many people experience no relief through various medical help, so maybe you can find relief through the tips I have compiled below.

Diet. The average persons diet contains a fair degree of acid. Scientists have proven that that acid can be very bad for Eczema. You have two solutions-systematically cut down on acidic foods, which is tougher than it sounds, or take some kelp supplements. Kelp is very high in alkali, and will help to neutralize some of the acid. This can be very effective, as can visiting a diet expert and having them compile a few meal plans for you.

Vitamin E. Vitamin E has excellent effects on areas affected with Eczema. The main benefit is that it can greatly reduce the itching and discomfort you can feel in your worst Eczema prone areas. The way it works is by neutralizing the microbes in the area-these microbes are thought to be to blame for the irritation which causes the itching. Natural Vitamin E is much more efficient than the synthetic kind, so be careful when buying.

Blueberry Extract. Blueberry leaves have a natural acid in them, which acts a wholly natural anti inflammatory. If you use and apply this regularly, it can really help you in the long term. Blueberry leaf extract should be found in your local health store.

Moisturize. Moisturizing can be a real godsend for some Eczema sufferers, but many people just dont bother with it. If you get into a regular moisturization regime, you can really cut the effect the condition can have on your life. Its best to moisturize as often as possible, twice a day if possible, and its also best to do it after bathing or showering. Apply the moisturizer when your skin is still slightly damp, and you will be helping to seal that all important moisturizer inside your skin.

Bleach in the bath. Although it may sound dangerous, research indicates that bleach in the bath can improve eczema symptoms due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.

Colloidal oatmeal. Colloidal oatmeal, also known as Avena sativa, is made from oats that have been ground and boiled to extract their skin-healing properties.

Baths. Bathing is an important part of eczema treatment. When a person has a skin condition such as eczema, their skin needs extra moisture because the outer layer is not functioning as it should.

Coconut oil. Coconut oil contains healthful fatty acids that can add moisture to the skin, which can help people with dry skin and eczema.

Honey. Honey is a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent, and people have used it to heal wounds for centuries.

Tea tree oil. Manufacturers derive tea tree oil from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia tree. People often use this oil to help with skin problems, including eczema.
