Did any of these surprise you? The moral of the story is to look at the ingredients listed in the lotions you use and buy, and knowing these 3 ingredients to avoid will really make a big difference if you need a good dry skin lotion.
Avoid water/aqua, alcohol of any kind, and fragrances (not to be confused with essential oils). Essential oils are a great way to add scent without the harmful effects of fragrances and parfums because companies legally don’t have to list those ingredients because it’s considered a trade secret.
An easy rule of thumb, the fewer ingredients in your dry skin lotion the better.
