We have various types of glands and among them apocrine glands are not very active, they are very rudimentary. However as a variation some individuals have prominent apocrine glands and hence the secretions form these glands hey give little bit of odour. Next thing is the bacterial accumulation of the sweat. Whenever there is excessive sweat, in some individuals it is degraded into products and it gives rise to smell. So in these instances the smell can be there even after bath. Third is there are metabolic disorders where there are some points that are not metabolized in our body before they are being thrown up. There are many metabolites that are being excreted, so this incompletely metabolized products when they are removed though the sweat, it gives rise to body odor. So whenever there is body odor, one should check for mainly family history, because many at times these genetic disorders run in families and they need a complete work up with a genetic counseling. If it is smell that happens on an often, especially in summer, because of the sweat, the sweat can be effectively reduced. So one more thing is take bath daily two times so that you reduce the bacterial load of the skin and wear cotton clothes and you can use some solutions that reduce the sweat and clindmaycisn solution that reduce the bacterial load. So by doing that it will reduce the bacterial load that happens because of excessive sweat. If you start taking bath twice. Whenever apocrine secretion are accumulated that also salts coming down. Beyond that also what smell comes down needs a workup. So check for genetic metabolic disorders.
