Ayurvedic Tips to Master Your Vata Mind | Doctor Rekha Ayurveda | #vata #ayurveda #vatadosha

First of all, having a Vata mind is not a bad thing at all!
You are the energy that lights up the whole room!
You are the enthu bomb!!!

No Pitta or Kapha minds can beat your zest for life, energy & optimism!
As Beyoncé says, you are not BOSSY (like Pitta) but you are the BOSS!

However, things can go north when Vata gets out of balance. Here are my tips to be the master of your own vata mind!

Vata is dry (Ruksha)
The opposite of dry is oily.
The best way to tackle Vata is daily oil massages!
A 5-minute foot massage before bed goes a long way in calming your mind!

Vata is light.
The opposite of light is heavy = Earth !!
Do earthing, and grounding practices.
Get outdoors.
Connect with nature.
Get out of concrete & get your feet on the soil, grass, sand…
But walking barefoot on a cold surface may increase Vata!

Vata is cold.
The opposite of cold is warm!
Do warm practices.
Protect yourself from everything cold- Cold conditions, cold foods & cold people! 😂

Spend time in warm places with warm people eating warm food – you” ll notice your Vata mind calming down!

Hope these tips help for now!
