Cellulitis:

• Cellulitis is a bacterial infection of the inner layer dermis
• It also affects the fat & other soft tissue beneath the layer of the
skin

Causes:

• Penetration of bacteria through openings like cuts, burns,
grazes or bites deep into the skin.
• Infections such as athlete’s foot, eczema or psoriasis
• Obesity
• Weak immune system
• Blood circulation problems causing the poor blood supply to
the tissues

Symptoms:

• Mostly occurs in legs
• Redness
• Swelling
• Inflammation
• Pain

Natural remedy for cellulitis using calendula:

Calendula contains certain chemicals which speed up healing by increasing the blood flow to the affected area. It also has good anti-inflammatory &anti-septic properties due to the presence of a compound called flavonoid

1. Add a cup of water to a bowl
2. Add a tablespoon of dried calendula flowers to it
3. Put it for boil
4. When the water is boiling, remove it from the heat
5. Cool the mixture & apply on the infected area

Natural remedy for cellulitis using tea tree oil:

Tea tree oil is a potent healer as it has very good antibacterial & antiseptic properties for fighting infections

1. Add 2 tbsp tea tree oil in a bowl
2. Mix 1 tbsp of olive oil to it
3. Combine them well
4. Apply it on the infected area
5. Do this thrice a day to get positive results

Tips:

• Don’t scratch scabs, insect bites, or chickenpox sores.
• Always make sure to clean your cuts & wounds
• Eat plenty of fruits & vegetables
• Exercise regularly
