#Dermatologist #DrDray reviews cult #skincare product A313 vitamin A pomade. A313 pomade contains retinyl esters. It is not as strong or effective as the prescription retinoic acid cream tretinoin . It is not as strong or effective as differin. It is not as robust as retinaldehyde or retinol for improvement of wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and photoaging.
Retinyl esters are hydrolyzded to retinol which is then oxidized to retinaldehyde. Retinaldehyde is then oxidized to the skin active form of Vitamin A, retinoic acid. Tretinoin (retin A), tazarotene (tazorac), and adapalene (differin) are skin active forms of vitamin A.
