My wife had double knee replacement
My wife had both her knees replaced at one time. After the first month where I could start touching her legs, I massage them every night. Careful not to touch the round until it healed up, I work around it. Basically helped some with her pain, relaxed her a little, kept her skin moisturized and the warming effects lingered on.
