How does stress affect our skin?

Stress is not just a word, it attacks our weekend organs. Weakened organs can come from our overall health, genetics, dietary and environmental.
If we keep our bodies immune system strong, then we are less likely to show signs of physical stress in our body and on our skin.
A very important factor that we can take charge of, is our diet. Try to eat organic foods that can help us with our stress, like green tea, chamomile, omega-3‘s fatty acids, which you can get from tree nuts and chai seeds, extra-virgin olive oil, organic coffee, beans . All of these foods lower our inflammation in our body which helps our body overall.
Face mapping is some thing I use in my work the under eye area where you can experience puffiness and dark circles and excess wrinkles. This area of our face represents the stomach. if you are digesting foods, well, and eating foods that support your body type and system, you’re less likely to have these three symptoms.
Mid cheek is the small intestine where you can see things like candida albicans and where you can also see when your bodies not digesting fats very well such as dairy, peanut butter, egg yolks, oily fish, fried foods. The large intestine is seen around the jaw line and that’s an area that when the skin is congested, pimples painful or not, bumps, the large is stuck, constipated. The large intestine is the organ of emotion and it holds onto our past. Learning to let go and release that is a wonderful thing. In this video I show a brief 1 minute exercise to stimulate the meridian of the large intestine.
Painful pimples to the touch are hormonal. it’s always good to see an endocrinologist to see where your hormone levels are at. If you’re experiencing painful nodules anywhere on the face neck or back, it’s good to have your hormone levels checked as excessive oiliness comes from an over abundance of the male to hormone, testosterone. Pumping iron, weights,
stimulate the male hormones, which can then intern make the skin break out. You can also notice more facial hair to the lower part of the face.
Inflammation of the body is big today. Most diseases come from inflammation, so staying away from your inflammation foods is really important. If you are suffering with rosacea, eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis, these all come from internal inflammation. Foods to avoid tomatoes, bell peppers, nightshades, which is potatoes and eggplant, spicy foods and alcohol particularly red wine.
Pay attention to your weakened areas when you get stressed. That is the area that you feel is not working it’s best. And then look at ways to support that area of your body moving forward. I always say “movement is medicine,” so exercise swinging your arms walking is a wonderful thing. Look at the beauty that surround us trees, the sky, the beautiful flowers, breathe the air and hood sleep. All of these things as super important to keep us healthy and live a long happy life.
