Burning sensation in anus while passing stools is due to some sort of inflammations in that area, it can be dermatitis and proctitis. If it is outside ,we call it as anal dermatitis, if it is a little deeper we all it as procititis. So again it is infection or some inflammation disorders, it can be because of eating very spicy food which can irritate that area ad you may be having burning sensation while passing motions the treatment depends on the case as well as symptomatic, if it is very minute ulcers and very short duration ad recent origin we do give some creams which will reduce the sensation, anesthetic or soothing agents and sometimes we use mediation that reduce the infectious. So antiseptic creams and lotions can be used to clear that. If there is lot of irritation, we even give pain killers and antibiotics depending on the need. So it depends on the cause of the burning sensation, apart from that symptomatic treatment can also be given.
