Undereye area is a very sensitive area. When we see a red patch, that means there is an eczema. In this area contact dermatitis could be the cause because we are touching this area with any allergen on our finger. Another cause could be any indiscriminate skin lightening cream, which are used for the under eye area. Some of them contain steroids. It can then out the skin and cause the red splotches to appear.
