Today we discuss the famous EOS lip balm lawsuit!
The lip balm craze that took over YouTube almost 7 years ago, everyone was creating content around EOS lip balm.
EOS aka Evolution Of Smooth founded in 2006 by CEO Jonathan Teller, are known for making primarily lip balms which claim to be organic and natural and in super cute packaging.
Favored by celebs like Kim kardashian, Hillary Duff, and Britney Spears,
they became the second-highest selling lip care product in the world.
However all was about to go WRONG!
Rachael Cronin purchased “Summer Fruit” EOS lip-balm on Friday, December 4, 2015 at a Target retail store in Los Angeles, California. But she didn’t love the lip balm as much as the celebs and you tubers who endorsed it.
And, At the height of EOS’s popularity, on the 12th of Jan 2016, Rachel Cronin decided to sue EOS for destroying her lips!
But who won the lawsuit?
