It was a scary situation – Megan Lavin’s tween son realized the popcorn handful he’d eaten at great-grandma’s contained dairy. However, now the family was traveling home on narrow country roads. As Megan @AllergyAwesomeness contemplated how to pull over to use the epi auto-injector, her son announced – he’d already self-injected.
As mom describes, she was shocked! As someone on Xolair for food allergies, apparently her son was now a cool customer when it came to administering epi! She proudly calls it “a silver lining,” and explains its bigger implications.
