Team Boroline💚or Team Boroplus💜 ❓
Boroline was invented in Kolkata by G.D. Pharmaceuticals and Boro Plus was invented by Emami Group which is also based in Kolkata. But Emami group is infamous for their Fair and Handsome cream for perpetuating racism.
BoroPlus has been around since 1984 where Boroline was invented in 1929
Boroplus is not only popular in India but It is largest selling cream in Russia, Nepal and Ukraine. Boroplus also has one fragrance free version that they sell in Russia. I really want it to be available in India.
Boroplus and Boroline both share few common ingredients like antiseptic Boric Acid and zinc oxide. Boroplus also has ingredients like saffron, turmeric, vetiver, neem, sandal, talc. They have used DMDM hydantoin as preservative. Boroline has petroleum jelly and lanolin.
Both of these creams have strong fragrance. Boroplus has more of floral scent where Boroline has more of a herbal scent.
I have used both the creams. I have used them for hands, feet, lips and as spot treatments. When it comes to texture, Boroplus feels lighter to me. But for me, Boroline works better in terms of healing my skin.
Both the creams are time tested but I’m team Boroline 💚
