What are the different types of Psoriasis? Mindful Mane & Body Care ™

Types of Psoriasis-

There are five main types of psoriasis: plaque, guttate, inverse, pustular, and erythrodermic.

Plaque psoriasis is the most common type, and is characterized by red, scaly patches on the skin or scalp.

Guttate psoriasis is characterized by small, red spots on the skin.

Inverse psoriasis is characterized by red, inflamed patches in skin folds.

Pustular psoriasis is characterized by white, pus-filled blisters on the skin.

Erythrodermic psoriasis is a rare form of psoriasis that is characterized by a widespread red, scaly rash that covers most of the body.

Although psoriasis is a noncontagious autoimmune condition, it can be managed with lifestyle changes, plant based products, herbs, botanicals or prescription medications.
