Fruits –
More of – Grapes, coconut, avocado, pomegranate, sweet lime, melon, banana, apple, custard apple, guava, pear
Less of – All other fruits
Avoid – Very sour fruits

Vegetables
More – Asparagus, cucumber, celery, cauliflower, cabbage, pumpkin, bottle gourd, snake gourd, ridge gourd, bitter gourd, lettuce, potato, sweet potato, zucchini, yam, okra, green leafy vegetables
Less of – Carrot, beet, tomato, onion, garlic, radish

Grains
More of – Wheat, rice, barley, ragi
Less of – Corn, millet, rye
Avoid – White-flour (pizza, Bread)

Dairy
More of – Fresh milk, butter, ghee, buttermilk
Less of – Curd, cheese, sour cream, preserved milk

Nuts
More of Soaked or lightly boiled almonds, cashews, peanuts, in small quantity
Less of Raw or roasted nuts

Pulses
More of Mùng, soya beans
Less of – All other pulses

Oils
More of – Coconut oil, sunflower oil, olive oil
Less of – Sesame oil, almond oil, corn oil

Sweeteners
More of – Jaggery, unrefined sugar
Less of – Honey, molasses
Avoid – White sugar

Spices
More of – Coriander, cardamom, fennel, cinnamon, fenugreek, clove, capsicum, cumin, celery
Less of – Pepper, ginger, mustard
Avoid – Pickle, spicy condiments, sour salads, dressings, vinegar, red & green chilli
