Causes & Tips to manage burning skin around eyes – Dr. Rasya Dixit

The skin around the eyelids is one of the thinnest in the whole body. So it is very sensitive and very delicate, to the extent at tis is the akin that ages the first due to the constant movement and the friction in these area. When we have burning around the eyes an in the skin around the eyes, there are common things that we are thinking about, that is there any possibility of any allergen in the makeup or the facewash, the facewash could be suiting the whole face, but because the skin is much more delicate around the eyes, it could be causing burning only in that particular area the second thing we are thinking is, is there enough moisture which is happening in this area? The rest of the skin has enough oil glands, but in the eyelid area do not have oil glands. So basically because of that, the skin is not able to protect itself in harsh months such as winter, when you are going out, without glasses, especially if you are driving with glasses, it can cause the skin around the eye to become preferentially dry out more because you may be using a helmet which produces or protects the rest of the face. So when we are talking about just burning without any skin changes just like wrinkling or redness or scaling around the eyes definitely think about these main factors change to a very mild facewash and a lot of moisturiser and use shades when you go out and if you still feel that the burning is persisting then we have to do anything that is considering the eye. Any change in the power of the eye, could also present like an itching or uncomfortable sensation in the eye which could transfer to the eyelid area, in spite of all this if it is not getting better, then it is time to seek expert help with the dermatologist who can examine you and tell if there’re is something more like a seborrheic dermatitis or an eczema or any contact dermatitis, because these are areas and conditions that are causing all these problems.
