Hair botox or Brazilian keratin treatment uses conventionally formaldehyde or formaldehyde releasing agents. How do they give that smooth shiny appearance to the hair. formaldehyde has nothing to do with the hair but it breaks the bonds of the hair and realigns the keratin filaments in a way that they reflect light more strongly so that they give a shiny, supple, healthy looking hair like look.
