Treatment for Nasal Polyps – Dr. Sreenivasa Murthy T M

“Nasal polyp’s treatment is largely dependent on whether it is pure allergic rhinitis causing final nasal polyp or whether it is coexisting with allergic fungal machine or fungal Sinusitis or whether it is an antrochoanal polyp. Antrochoanal polyp requires surgical treatment, fungus which associated with polyposis will generally require surgical treatment and then follow it up with her medication but those polyps are purely associated with allergic rhinitis tend to do very well when we give them medications for allergic rhinitis and they to shrink away and then as long as allergy is kept under control with medication that they don’t cost too much of a problem. The only thing people with allergic rhinitis need to visit the ENT surgeon regularly and have a follow up with them so that the can monitor reappearance of polyps if any.
