And the website where I bought Biom8 is here: To be clear, I bought the Skin Conditioning Oil. It is indeed made in Canada, and it looks like they recently updated their website so it must be doing well!
Also, I just had the chance to read some of the reviews. It seems that the vast majority of people see the improvements i mentioned. There are some people who gave 1-2 star reviews, and my guess for that is the underlying cause for the Dermatitis is different.
I am not a Dermatologist, so I am only speaking anecdotally, but I think my skin naturally lacks something in normal skin that wards off the fungus that causes the scaling and inflammation. The anti-fungal and steroid that a Dermatologist would prescribe I believe attack the fungus directly and relieves the redness causes by the fungus, but it doesn’t address the actual skin problem. Something about Biom8 allows the skin to resist the fungus to begin with, so there is no need for an anti-fungal or something to treat the symptoms that the fungus causes. This is only a guess.
