You might have noticed that when you take off your ring, the area of the skin covered by the ring is lighter compared to the rest of the skin and this who want to get rid of their ring for whatever reason might not get rid if this marks. Why do these marks occur? It is basically because sunlight falls on the area that is not covered by the ring and sunlight does not fall on the area covered by the ring so this leads to tanning so the area under the ring is not tanned. So we do basic detanning treatments which can be from certain creams, upto chemical peeks or lasers. So these are the procedures and treatments that we do to remove a tan of any kind. Tan could be on the face, tans could be in the hands etc. So the tan line can be on the areas where you have removed the ring. So we start with medications. If you are not responding well enough to medications, we start chemical peels, if you are not responding well enough to chemical peels, we go with laser.
