DIY Baby Lotion – Homemade – Improves Eczema and Baby Acne

This video shows you how to make your very own homemade (DIY) baby lotion. Avoid all of the harsh ingredients of store bought lotions with this simple recipe. This mild lotion is super moisturizing and is great for baby’s skin. The ingredients are also thought to help with eczema and common baby acne.

~RECIPE~

1/2 Cup Shea Butter
1/4 Cup Cocoa Butter
For Creamier Lotion Use Mango Butter!!!
4 TBS Olive Oil ( or more to thin)
1-2 TBS Castor Oil
(optional)

Essential Oil of Choice
I Like This One :

Melt oils together over a double boiler and stir. Remove from heat and add essential oils if using. Then transfer to the refrigerator to cool for about 30 minutes. Optional: Whip with a hand or stand mixer on high for a few minutes to improve texture. Finally, transfer to a container or pump bottle for storage. (Buy Glass Pump Bottle Here:

Because this lotion is entirely oil based, it will remain shelf stable for years (but I bet it won’t last that long). 🙂

This also makes a great gift for expecting parents or family members.
