After removal of scab from the itchy lesions of the scalp the condition goes in favour of psoriasis. In scab psoriasis the scab after removal we can see the pin point bleeding areas. So those are the very tiny bleeding areas that is due to dilated and tortuous blood vessels. Apart from psoriasis there are various other conditions where scabs can be seen. For e.g. in DLE, i.e. Discoid Lupus Erythematosus. In severe form of seborrheic dermatitis i.e. dandruff scabs can be seen. But as such there are no bleeding points after removal of scabs.
