Hello everyone and welcome to video number 1 (one) of my Chronic Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema) Journey! I’ve been living with Chronic Eczema since childhood and had been coping fairly well with it by utilizing steroid topical creams and ointments to tame the flair ups when they occurred. However when I turned 30 it seemed that everything that use to work no longer sufficed. So I did some research, went to a bunch of doctors (primary care, dermatologist, allergist, etc) and a few weeks ago I finally settled on Dupixent as the treatment to help me cope with and get my Chronic Eczema under control. In the this video and the ones to follow I will be showing you guys the process and the results that I receive from the Dupixent injections and also give you guys updates on my progress. In this video in particular, I’m receiving my initial maintenance injection using the prefilled syringe and also I’m giving you guys a one week update after that initial injection just to show you how my skin has progressed and to also talk about my initial reaction to the injection and my struggles with giving myself the injection. I hope my journey helps anyone who deciding to use Dupixent and stay tuned for more updates… because Eczema is NOT Life!
