How to Dry Brush Your Skin for Glowing Skin & Improved Health

I love dry brushing! After I dry brush, my skin feels tingly and alive. The gentle pressure and brushing have a calming affect that is relaxing. Best of all, it’s free!

Dry brushing is basically a whole body exfoliation that has been used for centuries. It’s exactly what it sounds like–you brush your dry skin. It’s an excellent way to rejuvenate your body and give you glowing younger looking skin. Dry brushing is also known to reduce cellulite on your arms and legs as well as eliminate back acne. Overall, it promotes healthier skin by removing dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, stimulating and increasing cell production and softening and smoothing out the skin.

However, the benefits go beyond the surface! Dry brushing increases blood flow and circulation and enhances detoxification through the skin. It stimulates the lymphatic and circulatory systems which boosts your immune system and improves overall circulation.

When dry brushing, use a dry, all natural bristle brush that is made of boar bristles or natural plant fibers. Synthetic bristle brushes will irritate the skin.

Anyone can dry brush as long as you don’t have severe skin irritations like extreme cases of acne, a rash, extreme eczema or open sores and cuts. It is a wonderful way to start the day.
