Minoxidil solution can cause various side effects and should not be used if the person is allergic to Minoxidil. This can be gone in 1 to 2 days also in some people if they get immediate itching of the scalp where they apply. It starts with itching and then red rashes can form on the scalp. It can spread from forehead, it is contradicted to use in a person using Minoxidil. Minoxidil should not be used in a person having Seborrheic dermatitis or severe Dandruff. If they are getting any boil or itching of the scalp then they should not use Minoxidil. Lichen planus, psoriasis, in their active stages Minoxidil should not be used. Minoxidil is recommended only for Male pattern baldness and female pattern hair loss for a long term usage on a normal and healthy scalp if your scalp is having healthy then Minoxidil should not be used. In children less than 18 years Minoxidil should not be used. Also no to be use in pregnant or lactating women or men with heart problems or any medications, after 65 years, after consulting doctors you cannot use. It cannot be used in combination with other medicines like any Ayurvedic medicines because oil will form a layer on the scalp and reduce the absorption of the Minoxidil solution. So preferably apply Minoxidil first and after 4 hours gap you can apply oil on your scalp. Minoxidil should not be applied on any other body areas that can cause other side effects and not be used after first 2 weeks faster hair transplantation also not to use after 120 days after hair transplantation procedures.
