Why Oat Oil Is So Calming for Sensitive Skin | Barrier Repair, Eczema & Atopic Skin

Oat oil🌾is one of my favorite oils ever… not for a trend but because it works.
I first started using it for my son’s atopic skin. I was looking for something really calming, protective and respectful of very fragile skin. The results made me fall in love with it.

Oat oil feels comforting because it contains ceramides, sterols and linoleic acid, the same elements the skin uses to protect itself.
It helps reduce micro-irritation, supports the skin barrier and slows down water loss without feeling heavy.

It’s perfect for sensitive and reactive skin, after depilation and when the skin feels fragile or stressed.
Many people with eczema or psoriasis-prone skin find it especially soothing.

🌿I also love that it’s non-comedogenic, which means it can be safely used on the face, even when the skin is unbalanced or prone to breakouts.

🧪One important note from the lab:
Oat oil should not be heated. To preserve its calming compounds, always add it in the cool-down phase of your formulations.

Some ingredients work by doing more, while others work by feeling right.
Oat oil does both 🤍
