On today’s Traveling with Eczema vlog, we visit Nelson, New Zealand! A city that is small, but with a big reputation for high quality food and the origin of many of the country’s top food brands like Pic’s Peanut Butter and Proper Crisps.
So nice to have a break from cold, dry weather after about 6 months from Wellington, NZ, Perth, AUS, Melbourne, AUS, Christchurch, NZ, and Queenstown, NZ. Nelson is like the US’s version of Florida. Many older, retired people who are very active in their communities and often working at the local shops.
One word of caution though: there is a bit of beanie-ism here. The video explains it, but I have to say it’s the first time I’ve ever experienced something like this anywhere. Once I realized what was happening, I found it quite amusing, but it took me awhile to figure it out.
Also, here’s my Itch Management Playlist that I mention in this video:
Hope it helps you survive your next itchfest!
Hope this video helps you prepare your trip if you’re planning to visit this beautiful town full of delicious food!
Thank you for watching and wishing you all much healing!
