Is your eczema worse due to the weather change and becoming frightful?
It sure is for some of my family members! As soon as the temperature got cold, eczema flares on their hands started cropping up daily. Don’t even get me started on the effects of increasing hand sanitizing due to illness, etc! The struggle is real!
Eczema is something we have battled with my little guy for years. At times, it was super severe and fell in the weaping category, which thankfully never got infected, but it was BAD. We have had different creams, ointments, and prescriptions that we have used on different parts of his body depending on the severity of the eczema. If you are in this stage, I’m so sorry. I know how hard it is! I hope you can get connected with a good pediatric allergist or pediatric dermatologist to help you navigate this! We have seen both to get help managing skin problems.
The “Skin Bin” as we started calling it, has helped me stay organized, though! Some days, my kiddo would get changed for bed in his room, but other times in the bathroom, if he was taking a bath or shower. It had been frustrating to get all the meds and ointments we needed in one place. Using a container like this helped so much by having a way to easily carry everything at once. I’ve also added his special shampoo and nail clippers to the bin, too. Whatever you need to address all the skin/bedtime needs can go in the bin to keep you organized.
I hope this tip helps a bit.
