Allergic Bronchitis is usually seen in smoker’s in people who are exposed to a large number of dust, fumes, paints, the dust in the textile industry etc. also people with chronic gastric reflux, these people are more prone to allergic an chronic bronchitis. They present with symptoms of persistent hacking cough, breathlessness, wheeze and sometimes chest tightness. The cause for the allergic bronchitis, is the inflammation and the secretions inside the tubules or the bronchus, which is caused because of the allergens. The factors responsible for asthma is the genetic factors, where the parents or other members inside the family have asthma, the patient can have asthmatic attack. The other factors include environmental factors like dust, pollen etc. In asthma, the bronchioles or the tubes that take the air to the lungs gets constricted because of the action of the allergens.
