My nails are literally coming off! Oh my goodness I have Onycholysis! I have seen both my Family physician as well as a Dermatologist, a biopsy and through exam was done. I have no infection etc., just trauma and malnutrition from a previous illness.
I’ll explain what my physicians have said t do at home to prevent further complications.
NOTE: I AM NOT A DOCTOR nor do I paly one on YouTube! This is what MY doctors told Me to do. You causes and treatments may vary. Please seek appropriate medical advise!
Instructions I was given:
keep dry!! Very important to prevent nasty stuff from growing between nail plate and nail bed.
Keep filed very short.
Take supplements as stated in video.
Do not play poke or prod the nails where separating.
Clean and dehydrate area, as instructed in video.
No color until grown out.
Keep a clear nail protectant over any bare nails like:

Keep watch for any changes. Especially, if color changes or any odor, or pain.
Report to my physician, if I have any other health symptoms.
I am alsnuing to use my cuticle oil mix, but with added Tea tree oil, using it to massage my finger to help increase blood flow.
