Rosemary Benefits –
Rosemary improves upset stomachs by aiding in digestion.
Rosemary is rich in antioxidants (polyphenols and flavonoids) which eliminate free radicals from your body. They are also great for protecting your brain, heart and liver.
Rosemary aids in flushing out toxins.
Rosemary boosts your immune system. It is high in vitamin C, vitamin A, magnesium, potassium and calcium.
Rosemary sids in regulating blood sugar.
Rosemary promotes heart health by lowering blood pressure.

SIDE EFFECTS –
Some people are allergic; it induces menstrual periods which can increase miscarriage and complications in high amounts; it may interact with some medications; it may worsen some conditions like epilepsy.

FOR A CUP OF TEA – steep 1 teaspoon of fresh Rosemary leaves with 1 cup of boiling water in a jug. Cover with a plate and allow the tea to steep for about 5 minutes. Strain and enjoy.

About the boiling water – let the water rest for a few seconds before adding to the leaves.
