Itchiness of the skin after a bath is due to various causes. First there will be dryness of skin. dryness of skin post bath are due to the following conditions. So the hot water and the soap and the dry air causes itching pot shower. So this is due to the depletion of the natural oils present in the skin due to excess hot water bath. So the remedy for this is to take a quick lukewarm water bath with a pH balance soap. The second most important cause for itch post shower may be due to the previous day sunburn or a main trauma to the skin or due to any inset bite. So these are the precipitating factors for itch after bath,. So the remedy for this is to take a short lukewarm water bath immediately after bath apply moisturizer on the whole body and gentle patting o f the skin, it toweling can be avoided. Gentle patting of the skin is sufficient.
