Meet Dr. Robynne Chutkan, one of the country’s most recognizable gastroenterologists and the veritable Queen of Gut! The author of four books on the microbiome (including my personal favorite–The Microbiome Solution), Dr. Chutkan is a graduate of Yale and Columbia College and has served on the faculty at Georgetown Hospital since 1997. Dr Chutkan’s philosophy is based on uncovering and remediating the root cause of digestive distress, which is often the result of damage to the microbiome from excessive antibiotics, acid blockers, immunosuppressive drugs, and a suboptimal diet. Her work has had an immense impact on my life and it’s an absolute thrill to share this conversation with you.
