After you get waxed, there are a couple of things you should do to treat the area. It also depends on where on the body are you getting waxed. If it’s a large area, I always say to make sure that obviously, they clean the area off. But, I personally don’t like any type of oils because your pores are opened. So, I always say just put like, an aloe on there. If you’re feeling a little pain, if it’s hot, I always put a little cold ice on the area. Then if you’re treating on the face, we want to make sure that, obviously to get the red out as quickly as possible, you could also ice it. Also I say, put a sunblock on there. Nothing with a moisturizer. It could cause some type of build-up of sebum, and you don’t want that to happen. So, actually just go with the basics. If you have sensitive skin, always put something, a cool cotton next to it. If you don’t have sensitive skin, you can wear anything you really want. Also, if you’re doing your face, let’s think, and you don’t want to put any type of moisturizer, SPF on, put a hat on. Just protect the area that you’ve done.
