A lot of myths are there in the internet and you don’t know who is writing all of them. So there is a lot of hype about baking soda being used as a miracle treatment to take away marks acne agespots. But you have to remember that baking soda is an alkali our skin’s natural pH is acid. So imagine you are putting an alkali on your skin. So you are going to damage your skin and irritate your skin and there is no logical reason why anyone would want to put baking soda on their face. Though we do recommend some alkaline products on the face for the treatment of acne or spots but we are very specific to use neutral pH face washes and moisturisers and use these products very safely for short periods of time. So in a 19 year old skin which is a very delicate skin we definitely don’t recommend experimenting with your skin because any damage that is done is going to be long term. Please don’t experiment with your skin. Talk to a dermatologist and find out what product suit you and if there is a problem they can help you address it.
