Lentigines- Most common- caused by Lipofuscin vs Melanin
Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation-easier to treat Example of these are acne scars, marks left after an abrasion, rash, or cut heals
Melasma- More difficult to treat-hormone driven -usually shows up as patches.
