178. Psoriasis treatment (and eczema) – cheap

A medical video this week from Ralph’s House. An inexpensive treatment for psoriasis and eczema that not many people know about, although its use dates back at least 2000 years. Pine tar. It can be mixed with unscented hand lotions and creams and works as well as coal tar. Don’t pay the earth for small tubes of ointments that for the most part don’t work. This is very effective and goes a long way. One 500ml can of pine tar will last a lifetime. It can also be mixed with shampoo (add 5% or less), at a fraction of the cost of propriety shampoos to relieve an itchy scalp. You can also make soap with it! As a rough guide, you should see a marked difference in flare-ups and smoother skin within 3-5 days and almost vanished after a week. Don’t apply heavily. You only need a trace on the skin to see great results. It can stain fabrics so wipe off any excess.
