How long can Dupixent (Dupilumab) last? I recently tested using Dupixent only once every 3 months (meaning I did not have an injection for 3 months). The standard prescription is one treatment every 2 weeks.
Before this, my dupixent treatment frequency was every 5-6 weeks in order to reduce eye swelling, conjunctivitis, and eye irritation:
I decided to stretch out my Dupixent treatment frequency even longer to 3 months because I was having nausea, vertigo, wanting to vomit, brain fog, and other neurological symptoms. I did not know if these symptoms were caused by Dupixent or if I was reacting to other immune triggers.
Also, I wanted to test what is the maximum length of time Dupixent will work. So, I kept waiting for my eczema and itching to return. Dupixent continued to work for about 11 weeks after the previous injection. Then, rashes, hives, skin peeling, and skin inflammation finally appeared. This is when I gave myself an injection after 12 weeks since the last injection.
