⬇️STOP USING GLYCO 6% CREAM INCORRECTLY! I’ve been talking about this for 2years before the Internet blew this one up. -Glyco 6 cream is an Indian pharma product that comes from the manufacturer Micro labs. It’s a very potent glycolic acid that needs to be prescribed by a dermatologist depending on your skin concerns, especially if it’s more than 10%. It’s used to treat skin problems like acne scars, unclog blocked pores, melasma, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles + photoaging. This cream truly helps increase skin cell turnover rate. So skin peeling is often seen & Side effects include burning sensation, redness. But it is extremely beneficial for pigmentation!
-Avoid using this cream around the eyes,eyelids & around the nostrils. If you’re using it on the lips or mouth area bcoz of pigmentation, apply for only 20mins & wipe it off + use slugging method post with vaseline. If you already suffer from sunburns or compromised skin ( eczema/psoriasis/rash / itching) pls do not use it. It will aggressively make it worse. NOT PREGNANCY FRIENDLY [ask doc! patch test is a must.
-Only apply it at NIGHT bcoz of photosensitivity. Application of sunscreen is a MUST next day. Avoid using vit c, AHAs, retinol, tret, retinoid while using glyco 6. Your face wash shouldn’t consist of it as well.
-in a week use it only twice & on alternate days apply retinol or other actives. Stick to this method for 2months till your skin is used to it. Then give your skin a complete break for a month & start again. Avoid Toners consisting of alcohol. For men , pls avoid shaving. Only stick to ceramides or peptide based moisturisers with 0 fragrance. For teenagers & sensitive skin, a doctors prescription is a must. It Costs Rs.170
-On clean washed hands , take a PEA size amount only & apply it on areas like cheeks, bridge of the nose where blackheads pops, forehead, neck ( affected areas of pigmentation including armpits [pea size amount only+ no deo] legs, hands, bacne too. Clean the area 1st, apply glyco 6 & then a moisturiser or slugging.
-Products to use with glyco 6 :- ceramides , peptides, glycerin, hyaluronic acid , centella , panthenol.
