RECIPE CALENDULA SALVE:

– infuse your favourite oil with dry calendula flowers for one month (I used cold-pressed Moroccan argan oil).
– Local Bees wax which I had to extract and filter but you can also buy it premade, organic.

STEP BY STEP:

1. In the top part of a double boiler, add 1 cup of your calendula oil and roughly 200g of beeswax. You can also add any essential oil but I prefer to keep it as natural as possible.
2. Add water to the bottom section of the double boiler so you can melt but not burn the mixture.
3. While still hot, carefully pour the mix into your containers and leave it to cool down until completely cold.
4. Apply a thin layer to your skin and enjoy the benefits of this incredible skin salve 😊

RECIPE LAVENDER OIL

– 1/2 cup of dried organic flowers (lavender in this case).
– 1 x Bottle of your favourite organic oil (I’m using cold-pressed Moroccan Argan oil)
– 1 x Glass jar
– 1 x cheesecloth

STEP BY STEP:

1. Hang dry or dehydrate at a low temperature your lavender. Once fully dry, Separate the lavender buds from the stem.
2. The soothing aroma of lavender is proven to help reduce anxiety, stress, depression, and insomnia. Fill a glass container at least ¾ full of dried lavender flowers or buds.
3. Pour your carrier oil of choice over the dry lavender, filling the container enough to cover the flowers.
4. Place the jar in a sunny warm location to infuse for at least one week, or up to 3 weeks. Shake once in a while as the flowers might float to the top.
5. After 3 weeks, strain the lavender flowers and reserve the oil. I use a cheesecloth so I can squeeze every drop.
6. I transfer the oil to amber glass bottles with a dropper to preserve it and use it when needed.

MARIGOLD OINTMENT:

– 120 x ml calendula oil
– 30 x ml beeswax

BORAGE TINCTURE:

STEP BY STEP:
