For a 5 year old son with atopic dermatitis, the main things to be followed at home are first you have to give an oil massage half an hour before bath. Second thing is not to give a long bath, give a short bath. Third thing is not to use hot water for bath, use lukewarm water and the fourth thing is apply moisturizer immediately after bath. So this will be helpful in maintaining moisture content in the skin. Also to apply moisturizer regularly, that is 2 to 3 times a day. Better to use cotton clothes.
