Hi loves! Today, I am back with a video that I hope to be of help to those that suffer from eczema. I specifically had NUMMULAR ECZEMA (there are many types). It was red, patchy, scaly, extremely itchy, and resembled acne. I know it can be very frustrating when nothing seems to cure it but I am here to help and give you suggestions on how I was able to get get rid of it. DISCLAIMER: I am not a dermatologist so the products that I use may not work for everybody but it has worked for me. Thank you so much for watching and I wish you the best of luck ♡

‣ Neutrogena HydroBoost Exfoliating Cleanser
I really like this product because it leaves my skin feeling very soft instead of very dry. It is also gentle and non-comedogenic!
‣ Thayers Witch Hazel
Toner is great for cleaning the skin and witch hazel has many benefits to the skin. I love this for prepping my skin before moisturizer!
‣ Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion
I swear by this face and body lotion! It has helped my eczema drastically because this product is super lightweight and gentle on my skin. It absorbs into my skin very quickly and keeps my skin looking fresh!
‣ Mario Bedescu Rosewater
This products helps my skin stay hydrated throughout the day which is crucial to keeping my skin for cracking. I also recommend the Evian water spray!
‣ Dove Deep Moisture/Nourishing Body Wash
Even the body wash I used had an impact on my eczema so it was important to use gentle hydrating products on my skin. Before, I used an inexpensive body wash from Suave which dried out my skin and had a lot of fragrance so it heavily impacted my skin.
‣ Topicort (Desoximetasone)
This is a steroid cream I am very careful with this one that was given to me by the dermatologist. I only use this product when my eczema gets really bad so it targets it very specifically. Steroid cream use is not good if you use it in excess because I have noticed it has made my skin sensitive.
✧ OTHER TIPS
1. Don’t shower with hot water!! It’ll dry out your skin!
2. Follow up with moisturizer as soon as you leave the shower!
3. Avoid apple cider vinegar! From personal experience, I tried using it and it made it absolutely worse.
4. Avoid trying to scratch. I know it is very difficult but scratching will cause it to scar and make it more difficult to rid.
