Homemade oil-based massage cream

Hello everybody! Recipe down below |/

This is one of our basic recipes for massage cream that can be used as a lubricant as well. You can also use it as a lip balm and skin hydration. All of the ingredients will be available for purchase in your local pharmacy for relatively cheap. It doesn’t take much of your time and saves a lot of money.

For 500grams of vaseline base we add:

1. 50g. Cocoa butter (deeply hydrates the skin, as the fats in cocoa butter form a protective barrier to hold in moisture. It also contains oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids, all of which nourish the skin. This makes cocoa butter a wonderful addition to moisturizers, body lotions, and lip balms)

2. 50g. Coconut oil (It promotes skin elasticity and fights free radical damage to help maintain a more youthful complexion. It is suitable for all skin types but is especially beneficial for dry, flaky skin, and skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis)

3. 5g. Jojoba oil (Thanks to its high concentration of natural forms of Vitamin E, jojoba oil soothes and softens the skin, leaving your skin looking hydrated, and has antioxidant and antibacterial properties)

4. 2-5g. Orange oil (Protects from damage: The high amount of limonene helps protect your skin from damage inflicted by pollution, smoke, and sun rays. Applied in a massage, Orange Essential Oil is known to increase blood flow. This is known to relieve discomforts associated with inflammation, headaches, menstruation, and low libido. Used medicinally, Orange Essential Oil reduces the incidents of painful and reflexive muscle contractions.)

5. 2-5g. Peppermint oil (used to soothe inflammation, irritation and itchiness on skin and scalp. It promotes wound-healing, and it is also touted as a natural remedy for soothing bug bites)
