Chronic pain can absolutely ruin your quality of life, but what can you do about it?
This is a subject close to Elwin’t heart as it’s something he suffered with for years, and along the way he discovered many strategies that work, in very difficult cases.
When you’re in pain, you just want to feel better immediately, and while painkillers can often do that temporarily, they don’t resolve the root problem.
In this episode, Elwin discussed the root causes of chronic pain, specifically inflammation, and what really causes it, in the process discussing the immune system, endorphins, endocannabinoids, cortisol, the thyroid, testosterone and how to discover which systems are causing you to have chronic inflammation, and what you can do about it.
