Sodium Laureth Sulfate:
SLS and SLES are both surfactants and emulsifiers (although made slightly differently). Companies put these in products to make them foam up, which is why it is commonly found in things with bubbles!
Cocamidopropyl Betaine:
A mild surfactant that comes from coconut oil, and is commonly used as a secondary foaming agent in liquid washes. It produces big bubbles in bubble bar recipes. It can be used to thicken and foam boost body washes and bubble bath.
Sodium Chloride:
The key in soap formulation is to balance the sodium with oils in order to ensure that it is not too drying. Sodium chloride when used in a shower soap can have many medicinal and healing benefits as it can help treat some skin conditions and help exfoliate
Cocamidopropylamine Oxide:
Its conditioning properties help improve the appearance of dry/damaged hair by increasing its body, suppleness and sheen. You can find this ingredient in personal care products such as cleanser, shampoo, bath oil/salts, acne treatment, body wash, hand sanitizer ,makeup removed, dandruff treatment and bubble bath.
Glycol Distearate:
In particular is often used as a “pearlizing” agent in body washes, to give the formula that pearlescent look that seems so inviting. The chemical may be derived either from animal sources (cow- or hog-derived) or vegetable sources, such as soybean oil and canola oil
Steareth-4:
When added to cosmetics and personal care products, the Steareth ingredients reduce the interactive forces between molecules of other liquids so that an emulsion is formed.
Tetrasodium ETDA:
Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is a water-soluble ingredient used as a “chelator,” which means it binds to certain mineral ions to inactivate them. … Tetrasodium EDTA also helps maintain clarity, protect fragrance compounds, and prevent rancidity
