Usually this Atopic Dermatitis has a family history of a present having atopic eczema or asthma or a common allergy which the present shave before the child inherits one of this. This treatment of Atopic Dermatitis is a lot of familial counseling and care because these children have very dry skin and the skin does not have a airier function which mean it breaks down again and again to give you rashes of Atopic Dermatitis. So use of a mild soap for bathing, use of lukewarm water to take bath, quick shower so that the skin doesn’t dry in a bath ad also application of an emollient so that it reduces the amount of Atopic Dermatitis flare-ups. Doctors do advice very eczematous patients, on seeing very oozy lesions, the use of oral antibiotic short courses, topical steroid creams and topical tacrolimus like ointments and usually Atopic Dermatitis reduces in severity as we grow older or the patients grows older. However it a present as small patches in the adult life as well.
